APSEC 2009 is an international conference focusing on topics related to structural engineering and construction. The 1st APSEC conference was held in 1989 in the historica city of Malacca. Since then the conference was held regularly at every three years and had attracted many researchers, academic and engineers from local and foreign. APSEC 2009 is set up  as strong platform to fruitful interaction and exchange of ideas, the latest technological advances, reserach results, design innovations as well as state-of-the -art information in the field of structural analysis, design, experiment and construction between scientist and engineers from both the academia and industry.

The 1st International Conference was held in September 2007 organised by Civil Engineering Department and Master Program in Construction Management of Universitas Pelita Harapan, Lippo Karawaci, Jakarta, Indonesia. The main objective ot this two day conference is to provide a forum among European and Asian Engineers in research and practice to present and to discuss the state-of-the-art as well as new research development in the field of Civil Engineering. The 2nd EACEF to held in 2009 at Malaysia will be jointly organised with the APSEC 2009 committee.

The organising committee invites you to present paper(s) and / or participate in the Technical Session of the Conference. The succeses and achievement gained in the last conferences have been remarkable and we are confident that this APSEC-EACEF 2009 will bring significant benefit to the industry.
